Day 29 – A place you want to go
PARIS! I’ve been to Paris once when I was really little. I only remember bits and pieces, mostly from looking at old pictures. My cousins from China are visiting and while I was stuck at work, my mom and dad took them to Paris for a week..

Day 27 – Redesign a book cover
I used a long time to decide which book cover to attemt to redesign, and I just ended up with «Hunger Games»..
The goal was to make Katniss be the mocking bird in the pin – I don’t know if I succeeded..
Day 26 – Something you don’t like
Onions! Call me weird, but I just can’t stand it.. Not onions, not leek, not chives, not garlic.. Sometimes it’s OK, but mostly I just hate it..
Day 25 – A Pokemon
It took some time to decide which Pokemon to draw.. I first thought of Pikachu, and then Eevee, but I ended up with this guy:

I remember when Pokemon cards were popular, I had a Charizard card that «sparkled».. But then someone stole it from me..
Day 24 – A couple
Day 23 – Favorite Disney character
I have no idea.. There’s so many to choose from, so I just went with one of my favorite characters in one of my favorite Disney movies, «Tangled«. I think the main reason why I love this film is because of the frying pans. It may sound random, but if you’ve seen the film, you probably know what I’m talking about – so funny!
So the red arrow points at: Pascal – I love this chameleon.. So cute! Now that I’m posting this, I’m beginning to wonder if I probably should have drawn just him and him facing us (I almost wrote «camera» here, but.. it’s not a photo – it’s a drawing, so since I’m not really sure what to call it, I’ll just say «us») instead of him talking to Rapunzel with his back towards us, but.. yeye..
Day 22 – An instrument
As I drew an instrument yesterday as well, I felt like I was kind of cheating since I’ve now just drawn a «small cello» (A violin).. But, I did it anyways 😛
Day 21 – Something you want
I was able to borrow a cello from the local «music and cultur» school, but eventually I had to return it. Then I got really happy when a cellist in the orchestra said he had an extra cello he could lend me a while, and I started playing cello in «Biørneblæs» instead of violin or trumpet. It was really fun to learn how to play a new instrument and actually play with other people, but then, of course, I had to return that one as well..
If I really want something, I usually just see if I can afford it, and take some time determining if it’s worth using the money on. But a cello is a big instrument, and it costs a lot, especially if you want a cello that’s not crappy. I feel it’s not that unlike investing in a violin. You could buy a cheap one, but as you learn to play and get better at playing, the instrument will just be a pain if it’s not a good instrument..
.. So a cello is just something I’ve wanted for a while, but not actively – just in the back of my mind.. Someday I might have the money to «invest» in one 🙂
